Keeping It Local – A Shopping Extravaganza for Fashionistas


            Fashion Group International with the support of Local First Arizona, two of the Valley's leaders in style and connecting buyers with local artisans, entrepreneurs and designers, have joined to host an exclusive shopping evening on Friday, September 17 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. The evening will host more than 30 of the Valley’s top local fashion, beauty and accessories products and services at one shopping destination, the hip, rustic art gallery and event space Legend City, 521 W. Van Buren, in downtown Phoenix.

            This curated shopping experience will offer buyers an opportunity to see, touch and purchase the best in the Valley's fashion, style and beauty industries. Every participating vendor is donating to the raffle and offering discounts, many at wholesale pricing. Discounts include a travel/makeup bag with every purchase from Moonstruck Fashion Accessories and Posh a la Mode will give shoppers a $20 gift certificate to use at the event. Raffle items include free tickets to Scottsdale Fashion Week, a Sterling/Swarovski necklace and earrings set valued at over $250 donated by Amy Mac Jewelry and Designer Eyelashes has contributed a set of $350 Milk Eyelash extensions.


            Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at or at the door. Arizona Spa Girls, Desert Living Today, LindaLand and Scottsdale Fashion Week are sponsors of the Keeping It Local event.
